"Chocolate beer" for Valentine's Day will be released on January 8th from the beer maker "Sankt Gallen" in Kanagawa prefecture.


This product is a beer that reproduces the bitter cacao flavor using malt roasted at high temperature. No chocolate is used. There are four types of lineup: "Imperial Chocolate Stout", "Strawberry Chocolate Stout", "Orange Chocolate Stout", and "Sweet Vanilla Stout".


Imperial Chocolate Stout is a black beer with a “rich bitter chocolate” flavor. The bubbles are black and have a shake-like hardness. It is as delicious as full-bodied red wine and can be aged like wine (for 2 years). Alcohol content is 9%. It contains 330 ml and the price is 648 yen.


Strawberry chocolate stout is a rich dark beer accented with sweet and sour strawberries. "Tochiotome", which has a strong sweetness, is used for strawberries. When you open the stopper, the sweet scent of strawberries spreads, and when you put it in your mouth, the bitter taste spreads. Alcohol content is 6.5%. The price is 540 yen.
