The third store of the cafe "Aoyama Flower Market TEA HOUSE " produced by the flower shop "Aoyama Flower Market" opens in Akasaka, Tokyo. Surrounded by lots of flowers and greenery, you can enjoy lunch and dinner, which is a cafe unique to a flower shop.

The author, who is in charge of watering foliage plants in the editorial department, also loves plants. After all, plants do not betray ... I visited to quench my thirsty skin and mind due to the heat of every day.


● An urban oasis in Akasaka

The "Aoyama Flower Market TEA HOUSE Akasaka Biz Tower Store", which just opened on June 30, is located on the first floor of the commercial facility "Akasaka Biz Tower", which is directly connected to Akasaka Station. It's the first affiliated store to open for dinner. There is a terrace seat of a parasol table surrounded by plants outside, and next to it is "Aoyama Flower Market". Even if you look at it from a distance, this area gives off a green aura.


The bright glass interior is full of tables, walls, ceilings, and greenery! Of course the real thing! The inside is filled with a cool and pleasant atmosphere like when you visited a flower shop.


The menu focuses on drinks such as fresh herbal tea and tea, as well as sweets, food, and alcohol. On this day, I ordered my favorite "rose" tea and jelly.


While waiting, relax and enjoy the view of the store. Banda is displayed under the table, and bright purple orchid mokara is displayed on the table and on the counter. Everyone is lively and it's like a flower shop cafe. If you look closely, the flower base is embedded in the top plate, so you don't have to worry about accidentally knocking down the flowers. The use of planters and how to plant flowers are likely to be hints for the interior.



● Black tea that makes you want to take a deep breath and ephemeral jelly like morning dew

First of all, "rose tea" (756 yen) was brought in. You can see rose petals in the tea leaves. It is a natural tea with no added fragrance, but when you pour it into a cup, the scent of roses rises strongly like potpourri. Take a deep breath before involuntarily drinking.


Black tea has a little acidity and moderate astringency, and it seems to go well with sweets. A slight rose scent remains in the mouth. Ah, I feel like I've become an aristocrat somewhere ...

Next, we will have "Rose Jelly" (756 yen), which is a light pink jelly with vanilla ice cream. The slightly decorated mini roses are so cute.


The jelly is so squishy that it almost spills from a spoon, with a rose scent and a hint of sweetness. If you compare it romantically, it has a fragile taste that is like collecting and solidifying the morning dew on the petals. The sweetness is just right when served with cream or ice cream. By the way, it is said that Damask rose extract is abundantly used in jelly, so it looks good for beauty!


I have 3 cups of tea, and I just want to stay longer. I heard conversations from nearby customers, such as "It's a waste for just one hour of a break" and "I'm inhaled." There was also a lunch that you could choose from three types of menus, and many businessmen as well as female customers came to the store. It certainly looks good for refreshing between work.


The store is open from 11:00 to 23:00 (food LO 22:00, drink LO 22:30). The flowers in the store change every week, so it seems that you can come to the store with a fresh feeling every time. Even if you find it difficult to grow plants at home, you can easily take in the power of plants here!
