It may be an unimportant concern, but there are some people who are very serious about solving this problem. Michael Robb and his colleagues from Pittsburgh, Pa.
They have developed the BEER BLIZZARD, a next-generation ice cube that attaches to the bottom of a can or bottle to chill the beer inside. They are currently seeking support on Kickstarter, a crowd funding service.
BEER BLIZZARD is a container made of polyurethane, a material used as an insulator and coolant for oil tankers and other vessels, filled with a non-toxic gel that easily cools. When the container is attached snugly to the bottom of a can or bottle, the beer inside is cooled from the bottom.
But is this really the only way to keep beer cold? One of the developers stated
'I've tried this product to death. Believe me, it's really well made."
So, if you are one of those people who say, "I only want cold beer! So why don't you support them? It's cool in more ways than one!
