A big paws and a yellow duck. I found some pretty bread in Yokohama.


"Le Bo Pan Yokohama Store" in Yokohama World Porters (Naka-ku, Yokohama) is a bakery that carries out the entire process from dough making to baking. The name of the store is French for "delicious bread". It is also attractive that there are many variations, from sweet breads for snacks to side dish breads and simple breads that you want to enjoy with cooking.

What I found here is a large paws-shaped bread that is about the size of an adult's palm. Its name is "Nikukyu" (152 yen plus tax). The ingredients inside are vermicelli and pork buns.


When you break it, the dough is white so it looks like a Chinese steamed bun. The texture of vermicelli goes well with the seasoning of the ingredients. The ingredients are in the "palm" part. There are no ingredients on the "fingertips", but the dough with the flavor of the ingredients is also delicious.


And the brightly colored "Kiiro Duck" (143 yen) has impressive round eyes. It seems to be handmade and all the facial expressions are different, so I'm wondering which child to bring home. The white beak is also cute, isn't it?


Since it is wrapped in a firm fabric, it does not lose its shape. And the stomach is filled with caramel cream and custard cream. The smooth texture of the cream and the rich aroma of caramel make this a very satisfying dish.
