General Bakery will sell four new products: "Buns of Rabbit," "Sake Kind Fig Kinako," "Black Tea Muffin," and "Rye Bread.The "Rabbit Bread," featuring the Chinese zodiac sign for 2023 "Rabbit," is filled with strawberry milk cream. It is white and shaped like a cute rabbit. Seasonal Anpan "Sake-kind Ichijiku Kinako" combines white sweet bean paste with rum-soaked figs, kinako (soybean flour), butter, and molasses for an elegant Japanese sweetness.
The "Tea Muffin," made with Earl Grey tea, is filled with raspberry jam, and the sourness of the jam goes well with the aroma of the tea. The bread will include 6 slices of "rye bread" softened by "low-temperature fermentation.
Rabbit Bread
: Filled with strawberry milk cream, baked in the shape of a rabbit and branded with a rabbit's expression. The price is 321 yen (tax included, same as below).
Sake-kind: Fig-Kinako
White bean paste, rum-soaked figs, kinako (soybean flour), butter, and molasses, wrapped in a savory sake-kind dough and topped with rum-soaked figs. Price: 270 yen. Rum soaked figs Dried figs from Turkey are used.
Black Tea Muffin
Muffins made with fragrant Earl Grey. The sourness of the raspberry jam goes well with the muffin. Price: 301 yen.
Rye Bread 6 slices
. The bread is fermented at low temperature to make it soft and slightly sweet. The price is 381 yen.
Sake Kind Fig Kinako will go on sale on January 1, 2023. All other products will go on sale on January 4, 2023.
