Iwate's local cuisine "Mamebu Juice", which has become a hot topic in NHK's serial TV drama "Ama-chan", will be sold at "Shirokita Park Fair 2013" held in Osaka.

"Mamebu Juice" is a local dish of the Yamagata district of Kuji City, Iwate, where dumplings "Mamebu" wrapped in walnuts and brown sugar are simmered in kelp and dried sardines along with vegetables and yaki-dofu. It is characterized by a mysterious taste in which the unique texture and sweetness of "Mamebu" are in harmony with the soup stock.

In addition to this, local dishes such as "Ichigo-boiled" and sea urchins and sea squirts will be sold at the venue as the "Tohoku Umaimon Festival". In addition, the "National Craft Beer Festival in Asahi" will be held, and you can enjoy 20 craft beers nationwide.

The event will be held for the first time this year by the Asahi Ward Office in Osaka City to support businesses damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. From June 1st to June 2nd at Shirokita Park in Osaka City. Admission is free.
