Burger King Japan will release two types of products using the newly developed "BK special BBQ (barbecue) sauce" and "pork patty" on April 26th. The BBQ sauce is based on tomato paste, sweetened with pear and jujube, and added with several kinds of spices to give it a "smoky" taste.

The "BBQ Wapper" that will be released this time is a product that combines a beef patty with a diameter of about 13 cm baked on an open fire, a sliced grill onion with a thickness of about 1 cm, and "BK special BBQ sauce". The other "BBQ Grill" is a dish of pork patties that are grilled on an open fire and sandwiched between lettuce, tomatoes, and onions in buns about 9 cm in diameter.

The single item price is 480 yen for the "BBQ Wapper" and 200 yen for the "BBQ Grill" for a limited time (usually 240 yen).
