All 21 Mos Burger stores in Okinawa Prefecture will hold the "Okinawa Mos Lettuce and

Tomato

Festival" from March 8 (Wed) through March 12 (Sun), using lettuce and tomatoes from Okinawa Prefecture in all products made with lettuce and tomatoes. The "Okinawa Mosu Lettuce and Tomato Festival" will be held from March 8 (Wed) through March 12 (Sun). The "Tobikiri Hamburger Sandwich (Large Lettuce and Tomato)", a regional exclusive, will also be on sale.

Mosu's Lettuce and Tomato Festival in Okinawa Prefecture

This festival is held to show appreciation to local people and customers, and to let them taste delicious local vegetables. During the festival, lettuce harvested at Okinawa Farm (Nanjo City, Okinawa Prefecture), a cooperating farmer with Moss, and tomatoes harvested at JA Okinawa Tomato Co-op (Tomigushiro City, Okinawa Prefecture) are used in the menu. The "Tobikiri Hamburger Sandwich [Large Lettuce and Tomato]" will also be available for a limited time.


Compared to the "Tobikiri Hamburger Sandwich

[Tomato

& Lettuce]" currently on sale nationwide, this special hamburger uses about three times as much lettuce (on a weight basis). A plump, hearty hamburger made from 100% Japanese ground beef and pork, topped with Japanese sauce, a layer of sliced tomatoes and plenty of lettuce, and a half mayonnaise type topping. Price: 540 yen.


After the end of prefectural vegetables, other vegetables grown by cooperating Mosu farmers will be used.
