Peaches in a melt-in-your-mouth compote
Peaches are the fruit of summer. If you receive a lot of peaches from your parents, or if someone gives you some, why not make a
compote out of one of them? Even if the peaches are still hard, they will be melt-in-your-mouth soft!
All you need are
peaches and
Mitsuya Cider. There is no need to measure out sugar or other ingredients, so even a sloppy cook like myself can make it easily! Incidentally, the recipe is based on the "Apple Compote" on the official Mitsuya Cider website.

Ingredients (for 1 person
) 1 peach
150-200cc Mitsuya Cider
Ingredients: peaches and Mitsuya cider, that's all!
Directions
: Cut the peach in half lengthwise with a knife and rotate to make two equal pieces, as you would when peeling an avocado. Peel the skin and remove the seeds with a spoon. Cut into quarters or eighths if you like!
Put the knife in vertically and go around.
Divide into 2 equal parts while twisting
Place the peaches in a small saucepan and pour in the Mitsuya cider. If the peaches are not completely soaked, please add water and adjust the water level so that the peaches are fully submerged.
Throw in peaches and Mitsuya cider.
Continue to simmer over low heat until all the water is absorbed.

For
ice cream or yogurt
, peach compote is so soft you don't even have to chew! It is soft, and since it is cooked down with cider, the sweetness is concentrated so much that it has a rich, melt-in-your-mouth flavor.
Pair it with some compatible vanilla ice cream or yogurt for a rich, parfait-like dessert!
By the way, I like to combine it with Super Cup vanilla ice cream, which is a staple of vanilla ice cream. It tastes so good that you wonder if you made it yourself. Try it for a holiday treat!
