Chocolate using "phantom white cacao"
"Meiji The Chocolate Mexico White Cacao" will be sold in limited quantities at the chocolate festival "Salon du Chocolat Tokyo 2017" to be held at the Tokyo International Forum from February 2nd to 5th. The price is 1,500 yen (excluding tax).
"Meiji The Chocolate" is a "specialty chocolate" series that emphasizes the characteristics of cacao beans from each production area. It is said that it is characterized by the taste that makes the best use of the "flavor" of cacao beans that are particular about the production area.
The Mexican white cacao sold only at the venue uses the highly rare Mexican white cacao harvested last year (2016). Although it is dark chocolate, it has less bitterness and astringency, and you can enjoy its deliciousness and richness.
