"Famima's Chinese Manjuu" Renewed Launch

FamilyMart stores will begin selling the new "Famima's Chinese Manjuu" from August 15. To commemorate the launch, a "20 yen off sale" will be held for a limited time from August 15 to August 21.

This year's "Famima's Chinese Manjuu" has more ingredients for each flavor, and the manufacturing process and seasoning have also been reviewed. The lineup includes "Juicy Meat Manju Manju with Chunky Dough," "Thick Pizza Manju with Cheese," "Pizza Manju with Red Beans from Hokkaido," "Pizza Manju with Red Beans from Hokkaido (Sesame flavored)," and "Spicy Bulgogi Manju with Delicious Spice.

The main ingredient, pork, has been increased, and the manufacturing process and ingredients have been reviewed to create a juicy pork bun. Two kinds of soups, "Maotan" and "Chingtan," which are used as the base of Chinese dishes, are used for seasoning. The flavorful "higher grade" taste can be enjoyed.

The dough is made from fermented ingredients and is left to rest for a day to create a chewy texture that is more delicious the more you bite into it. The price is 160 yen (tax included, same as below).

Nobi~ru Cheese Thick Pizza Bun

This pizza bun combines rich, fresh-tasting, Italian ripe tomatoes with a high mineral content, and aged Parmesan cheese with a delicious flavor. The amount of cheese has been increased so that the "stretchy cheese" characteristic of "Famima's Pizza Man" can be enjoyed even more thoroughly. The price is 160 yen.

Deliciously spicy bulgogi bun

A Chinese bun filled with ingredients reminiscent of the Korean dish bulgogi. The meat is a well-balanced combination of beef ribs and pork, and is seasoned by marinating it in a sauce. The sauce is based on re-fermented soy sauce, with mirin, sugar, sake, and two kinds of chili peppers added to create a deliciously spicy summery flavor. The vegetables stir-fried with the meat are green onions, carrots, and onions. The price is 168 yen.
