Marie" and "Marie Antoinette"

According to Morinaga Biscuit, Marie Antoinette, who married King Louis XVI of France, had a baking oven built in her court and baked cookies with excellent flavor. Some say that the hard cookies she particularly enjoyed were called "Marie biscuits" after her. Cookies with this name are characterized by the same design everywhere in the world, which has not changed in the past and still remains the same today. In Japan, "MARIE" and "Marie" are registered trademarks of Morinaga Seika.
