Hotto Motto Grill will release "Plate with Colored Vegetables and Chicken in Black Vinegar Sauce" on July 12, in response to the demand for more vegetable dishes. The price is 630 yen (tax included, same as below).
Plate of Colored Vegetables and Chicken with Kurozu An (Black Vinegar Stew)
The "Colored Vegetables and Chicken Plate with Black Vinegar Stew" features five kinds of grilled vegetables cooked in the restaurant's high-temperature oven and fried chicken sliced in half and tossed in a black vinegar sauce. The vegetables include red bell pepper, zucchini, onion, lotus root, and eggplant, providing 1/3 of the daily requirement of vegetables. The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's "Healthy Japan 21 (Second Stage)" sets the target for vegetable intake at an average of 350 g per day.
The black vinegar bean paste is made from two types of rice black vinegar: domestic rice and domestic brown rice. The moderate acidity of the vinegar and the fruity sweetness of the apple juice are well balanced. The black vinegar starch is well mixed with the vegetables and karaage and goes well with rice.
Hotto Motto Grill also offers "Grilled Vegetables & Japanese-style Hamburger Plate" (810 yen), "Grilled Vegetables & Grilled Chicken Plate" (720 yen), and "Grilled Vegetables & Beef Steak Plate" (890 yen) as products that provide 1/3 of the amount of vegetables needed for one day.
