Yowamochi Ice Cream Yomogi Mochi Flavor

The Yawamochi Ice Cream series was first introduced in 2012, and this year marks its 10th anniversary. As the first of the 10th anniversary project, the traditional "Yomogi Mochi" flavor, which has been loved since ancient times, was selected as a spring-like flavor.

This Japanese sweet ice cream combines yomogi ice cream, yomogi rice cake, tsubuan (bean paste), and kyo kinako (soybean flour) to create a flavor that tastes just like yomogi rice cake from a Japanese confectionery. Domestically produced yomogi leaf paste is added to the mochi, and yomogi powder is blended into the ice cream. You can enjoy the aromatic and authentic taste of yomogi mochi.

Even when frozen, it is topped with Imuraya's signature soft and glossy tsubuan (sweet bean paste) and a larger portion of mochi mochi (sticky rice cake) than in previous products. The result is a satisfying and Japanese-style confectionery.
