Zoni, one of the standard New Year's dishes. Zoni with lots of ingredients is delicious, but it takes time to make it from scratch. A cup-type "Yuzu-scented ozoni" that you can easily enjoy is on sale at KALDI Coffee Farm.

Yuzu scented ozoni

Zoni with Tsukune, radish, Chinese cabbage, carrots and shiitake mushrooms using Kyushu brand chicken "Kamitori". The soup stock is based on chicken stock and has a slight scent of kelp stock and yuzu. One serving (265g (9.35oz)), the price is 313 yen (tax included).


It's very easy to make. Simply put the mochi and ozoni from the bag into a cup, cover the cup, and heat it in the microwave. The standard heating time is about 3 minutes for a microwave oven of 500W and about 2 minutes and 50 seconds for 600W.


The soup has a deep flavor that combines the flavors of light soy sauce, chicken stock, kelp stock, and bonito stock. Afterwards, the scent of yuzu will come out comfortably in your nose. Rich yet refreshing aftertaste.


Radish, Chinese cabbage, carrots, and shiitake mushrooms are simmered softly and match the smooth texture of the mochi. The thick meatballs have a fluffy texture. Only one is included, but it is big and luxurious.
