material

Turnip (root only) 2 vinegar 2 tablespoons
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon salt kelp

How to make

Wash the turnips and slice them with a slicer.

Put vinegar, sugar, salted kelp, and sliced turnip in a plastic bag or tapper.

If it's a bag, rub it in so that the seasonings spread throughout the turnip, and if it's a tapper, mix it.

Place in the refrigerator for 30 to 1 hour to complete.

What is its taste?

A pickle with a crispy texture that overlaps with thin slices is completed! The refreshing taste of the turnip itself is combined with the sweetness of sugar, the acidity of vinegar, and the umami and saltiness of salted kelp in a well-balanced manner.

The vinegar works and the aftertaste is refreshing. It is a convenient recipe that is also recommended as a chopstick rest for side dishes of rice, snacks of sake, and thick meat dishes.
