With the surplus mochi! Sweet and spicy tteokbokki style

Ingredients (for 1 person)

2 cut rice cakes 1 tablespoon of sake, water and sugar
Gochujang 2 tsp
1 teaspoon soy sauce
Appropriate amount of white sesame

How to make

Mix sake, water, sugar, gochujang, and soy sauce in a pan and heat over low heat.

Put the mochi, which is divided into 3 equal parts in a stick shape, and simmer while rolling so that the seasoning is entwined throughout.

When it becomes soft, turn off the heat and serve on a plate. Sprinkle with white sesame seeds to complete.

What is its taste?

The chewy and chewy texture of the mochi is matched with the pungent and rich sweetness! It's delicious that chopsticks won't stop. If you turn off the heat so that the core of the mochi remains a little, the texture will be closer to that of tteokbokki. It's also delicious, though.

Is this a little overcooked?

It is also recommended to wrap it in lettuce and eat it. Refreshing is added to sweetness. It's easy to make and delicious, so be sure to have it for breakfast or snacks!
