1 sweet potato 4-5 slices of lemon 1 and 1/2 tablespoon sugar

Wash the sweet potatoes well and cut into 1-1.5 cm wide slices with the skin still attached.
If you have time, soak it in water for about 5 minutes to drain it.
Put sweet potatoes, sliced lemons, and sugar in a pan, and add enough water to fill the pot.
Cover with the otoshi buta and simmer for about 20 minutes until the sweet potatoes are soft. If you don't have a drop lid, you can use a cooking sheet or aluminum foil instead. Adjust the heating time to your liking while looking at the potatoes.
