ROYCE' is a chocolate maker in Hokkaido. Their raw chocolates and potato chip chocolates are popular, but their "marron glacé" is also a famous product, which I will introduce here.

This product is made from Italian marrons that have been slowly soaked in molasses with natural vanilla. Each box contains 10 pieces and the price is 1,879 yen (tax included).



The inside of the wrapping is vacuum packed. The surface is flaky, so it is better to use a fork than to eat it with your hands.


Marron covered with molasses is very flavorful! They are soft and sticky and fall apart delicately when you bite into them. It has an exquisite taste that is sweet but not overpowering. The sweet vanilla scent in your nose will make you feel happy. Each piece is large and satisfying to eat.


They can be stored at room temperature and have a shelf life of about four months, so you can enjoy them for a long time. Both the packaging and the delicious taste have a luxurious finish, making it a perfect gift.
