A new menu "Pig Kakuni Don" has been released at each "Nakau" restaurant of Don and Kyoto-style udon. Offer for a limited time from February 13th to the end of March. The price is average 690 yen and large serving 760 yen (tax included). You can also take it home.


Nakau Pork Kakuni Don

The main bowl menu is pork kakuni, which has been simmered for at least 3 hours until it becomes "smooth". When I asked for average, 5 pieces of kakuni were placed. The central leaf is namul of Japanese mustard spinach.


Kakuni isn't diced, but it's thick and each one is excellent. When you eat it, the sweet and spicy taste, the umami of pork, and the sweetness of fat melt. Delicious! It's a luxury that you can eat so much kakuni at once.




A chopped paste is laid between the rice and the kakuni, giving it a Japanese taste that is typical of Nakau. Adds a refreshing accent to the rich, sweet and spicy taste of rice. The crispy Japanese mustard spinach namul is also good for resting chopsticks.



A hearty limited-time menu where you can fully enjoy pork kakuni. By all means when you feel like you want to go solid!
