Discovered the "Konnyaku 0 Calorie Off Noodles (Cup Noodles)" series at the "Konnyaku Park" theme park operated by Yokoo Day Leafs in Kanra District, Gunma Prefecture. I was attracted to the word "zero calories off sugar" and actually bought it and compared it. The purchase price is 200 yen per cup (excluding tax).


I bought 3 kinds of "Soy sauce ramen", "Chilled Chinese style" and "Curry udon". In addition, "chilled Inaniwa udon style", "duck soup soba", and "chilled bukkake soba style" were on sale.

■ Shoyu ramen
"Soy sauce ramen" that you can cook in the microwave without having to boil the noodles. Konjac noodles with ramen soup, about 79 kcal per serving (soup has no sugar and is not calorie-free).

Easy to make. Take the noodles out of the bag, wash them with water, put them in a cup, add 150cc of water and ramen soup, and stir. Warm in the microwave (500W) for about 4 minutes to complete!


If it is left as it is, it will be a little lonely with only noodles and soup, so you can add toppings if you like. The calories will increase by that amount, but you can enjoy it with low calories if you devise the selection of ingredients such as boiled vegetables, green onions, and wakame seaweed.

"Chilled Chinese style" where you just throw away the water in the bag, put it in a cup, and then add the soup and pickled ginger. If you are concerned about the smell of konjac, it is recommended that you lightly wash the noodles with water and then put them in a cup. This is also a topping of pickled ginger only, so add your favorite ingredients.

■ Curry udon
Like "Soy sauce ramen," "Curry udon" is a dish that you can enjoy by warming the washed noodles, soup, and water in the microwave. I added green onions because there are no ingredients here either.

The plump udon has a texture that feels like it was boiled a little too much. The soup is a smooth type, and it doesn't have the “thick” feeling associated with the curry udon in the package photo. It's a little spicy, and it's like curry ... like?



■ What is the recommended taste?
My personal recommendation is "Soy sauce ramen" . It was the least addictive and had a taste that was easy to eat. On the contrary, what was different from what I expected was "curry udon"? It is a refreshing "curry (soup) udon" that is not thick.

The konjac scent that I was worried about does not remain as much as I expected, and the "sugar-free calorie-off noodles (cup noodles)" series allows you to enjoy a "crispy" texture. Recommended for calorie adjustment the next day after eating too much, or when you can't stand ramen while you are on a diet.
