PRESS BUTTER SAND to Open at Yurakucho Marui for Limited Time
A pop-up store specializing in butter sandwiches, PRESS BUTTER SAND, will open for a limited time from December 26 to January 10, 2019, at the event space calendarium on the first floor of Yurakucho Marui in Tokyo.
Butter Sandwich was developed using plenty of fresh butter so that customers can enjoy the taste of the butter itself. The rich butter cream and smooth butter caramel are sandwiched between cookies, bringing out the best of each ingredient.
The cookies are made using an original press developed especially for this product, and the "scissors baking" method, which has its roots in Japanese confectionery, is used. The cookies are imprinted with a geometric pattern designed to be mechanically easy to break.
Prices are 1,000 yen for 5 pieces, 1,710 yen for 9 pieces, and 2,850 yen for 15 pieces (all tax included).
