I actually purchased and tried the "Butter Sand [Black]" sold by Press Butter Sand Gallery, which comes in a pack of five and is priced at 1,404 yen (tax included).

"Pressed Butter Sandwich Gallery" is a premium line of "Press Butter Sandwich" that offers more luxurious tastes and aromas created by "combining ingredients" that have never been available in conventional butter sandwiches. Chocolate caramel made from two types of Colombian chocolate, carefully selected high cocoa chocolate with a floral aroma and rich chocolate combined with brown sugar. The caramel is flavored with "Negritalum," a heavy rum with a unique flavor known as the "Lady of Rum," which, when combined with the savory aroma of the cacao, creates a gorgeous aroma that overflows. Two layers of rich chocolate caramel and smooth butter cream are sandwiched between cocoa cookies.

The cookie dough has also been carefully tested and kneaded with black cocoa and red cocoa to create a sophisticated black color.

Actual Tasting

The chic packaging with black letters and silver foil stamping. The inside is also individually packaged in a simple silver color. The design is mature and stylish! The box is also quite solid, so it seems unlikely that the contents will break when you carry it around (but please be careful not to give it a shock).



The pitch-black cocoa cookie looks hard at first glance, but when you bite into it, it "pops" and crumbles. They are crispy and delicious! The subtle savory flavor is irresistible.


Inside the broken cookie is chocolate caramel and butter cream. It is so smooth and melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The combination of the gorgeous flavor of cacao, the richness of chocolate, and the mildness of butter gives the cookie a rich and delicious taste.


It is not too sweet, and the key point is that it leaves a nice bitterness in the mouth. The combination of crunchy, mild, and mellow is addictive.
