Matsunoya New Sauce Sasami-katsu to become a standard menu item

Matsunoya will sell new sauces "Green Hot Chili Mayonnaise" and "Red Curry Tartar" for "Sasami-katsu Teishoku". The "Sasami Katsu" will also be available as a regular menu item, starting at 3 p.m. on August 16.

The "Sasami Katsu" has been a big hit every time it has appeared on the menu. This "high protein, low fat" chicken cutlet is crispy deep-fried and has many deep-rooted fans. The long-awaited regularization of this dish has finally made it into a regular menu item.

The two new sauces that will be available this time are spicy and hot, perfect for summer! The "Green Hot Chili Mayonnaise" is a mayonnaise-based sauce with a mild aftertaste, and the "Green Hot Chili Sauce" has a moderate kick from the green chili peppers that tingles the nose. The "Red Curry Tartar" is based on Matsuya's own tartar sauce, with red curry and chopped garlic added for a punch.
