Cheese Tomato Sasami Katsu will be available at Matsunoya from 3 p.m. on November 1.

In April 2023, Matsunoya's official X-account conducted a survey on "Favorite Sauce" using a voting system. Although it was defeated by a majority vote, the dish has been successfully resurrected in response to the passionate requests from customers, with some people commenting on social networking sites that "the tomato series in the Matsuya lineup never fails to deliver" and "the thick tomato sauce is perfect with rice, and the chopsticks just won't stop.
