"Noukyou Milk" is a series of mild and gently sweetened beverages made by mixing a variety of Japanese ingredients with milk. The series aims to help solve food loss and other food-related problems by, for example, using substandard fruits in cooperation with JA (Japan Agricultural Cooperative Associations) throughout Japan.

Hakuto

The new "Noukyou Milk Yamanashi Hakuto" is a new drinkable product made with juice from Yamanashi white peaches and 50% raw milk, produced by Kyodo Nyugyo in cooperation with JA Zen-Noh Yamanashi. The juice of sweet and fragrant white peaches produced in Yamanashi, which boasts the largest production in Japan, and milk produced by dairy farmers are combined in a well-balanced manner.

Peach production is greatly affected by weather conditions such as temperature, rainfall, and excessive or insufficient sunlight. In recent years, localized heavy rainfall, gusty winds, hail, and unusually high temperatures during the summer months have caused some products to be unable to be shipped to the market, which can lead to food loss risks and exhaustion for fruit growers.

In order to support these issues, JA-Zennou Yamana is not only promoting the spread of competitive prefectural varieties, branding, and sales promotion, but also promoting fruit farmers by collecting fruit and using it as raw materials for processing. Kyodo Dairy agrees with these efforts and uses JA Zen-Noh Yamano's white peach juice in this product to contribute to food loss reduction and regional revitalization.
