Kurazushi will hold an Additive-free Sea Urchin and Japanese Tuna Fair starting Wednesday, February 22 for a limited time and in limited quantities. The additives include no chemical seasonings, artificial sweeteners, synthetic colors, or artificial preservatives.

Special Bincho Tuna

: Carefully selected, fatty albacore tuna caught in the cold waters of the southern hemisphere. The tuna are caught using the "haenawa fishing method," in which each fish is hooked onto a hook one by one, and immediately frozen on board. The tuna is then thawed in the restaurant in warm salt water to preserve its flavor and allow you to enjoy the original taste of the ingredients.

Matsuura Fisheries, Ehime, Japan] Mikan Mahata

is part of the "Fruity Fish" series offered by Kura Sushi. The light white flesh of mahata, known as a high-end fish, goes well with citrus fruits, and by mixing citrus oil from Ehime Prefecture into the bait and cultivating the fish, customers can enjoy a refreshing citrus aroma that wafts through the nose.

This is a new product in the "Gokumino-Itsumibi Series," a series of

gorgeous domestic products.

The dish features an assortment of four kinds of luxurious ingredients, including rich sea urchin caught mainly in northern Japan, such as Hokkaido and Iwate Prefecture; hand-rolled sushi using premium Ariake laver; nigiri and thin rolls lavishly using Shiogama tuna; and gunkan topped with a generous amount of Hokkaido salmon roe (made with ingredients from Hokkaido).
