As an ancient Japanese fermented beverage, it has been enjoyed by men and women of all ages since the Edo period.

The "Izumo ginger ginger malt amazake latte," a drink that warms the body and is typical of the New Year's season, is now available, focusing on this malt amazake. You can enjoy the Japanese taste of this non-alcoholic, sugar-free malt amazake characterized by its natural sweetness and the tangy accent of Izumo ginger.


Izumo ginger is a rare ginger grown near Izumo Taisha Shrine. Compared to ordinary ginger, Izumo ginger contains more pungent ingredient (zingerol), which gives it a tangy, pungent taste. Tully's Coffee has been selling ginger as a drink and a grocery product since 2020 after meeting a farmer who carefully cultivates ginger with his family, saying "I want to contribute to the community through agriculture.
