FamilyMart will hold "Uji Matcha Mure" from April 5 to April 25. The lineup includes a variety of sweets and drinks made with matcha green tea, which is a specialty of FamilyMart.

Uji Matcha Mare

The "KINZEN UJI MATCHA ZUKUSHI" held in May 2021 was so well received that it will be held again this year. The "Uji Matcha Mare" menu features 15 types of products, including matcha from the 450-year-old Kamibayashi Harumatsu Honten and FamilyMart's original blend of Kyoto-produced Uji matcha by tea master Haruhide Morita.

Raw chocolate rice cake with matcha green tea inside and out. Matcha green tea raw chocolate made with Uji matcha green tea supervised by Kambayashi Harumatsu Honten is wrapped in mochi dough, and the outside is also covered with luxurious Uji matcha powder. The price is 258 yen.

Uji Green Tea Mochi Monaka Ice Cream

You can enjoy matcha ice cream, tsubuan (bean paste), and mochi (rice cake) using Uji matcha green tea supervised by Harumatsu Kambayashi Honten. The tsubuan is made from azuki beans produced in Tokachi, Hokkaido, and the mochi is cooked in-house by the manufacturer. The outside is crispy, while the inside is glutinous. The price is 178 yen.

Waffle cone ice cream with the delicious taste of Uji green tea, supervised by Harumatsu Kambayashi Honten, and a savory sugar cone made from whole wheat flour. The price is 268 yen.
