"French Cruller with Rice Flour from Tohoku" Series- 2nd Product LAWSON will begin selling the second product in the "French Cruller with Rice Flour from Tohoku" series of doughnuts made with brand rice flour and local ingredients from each prefecture in the Tohoku region on November 8, 2012, at LAWSON stores in the Tohoku area.
The new products are "French Cruller with Tohoku Rice Flour - Kinako Whip" made with rice flour from the "Tsuyahime"
and "Ginga no SHIZUKU" brands of rice produced in Yamagata Prefecture, and "French Cruller with Tohoku Rice Flour - Sesame Whip" made with rice flour from the "Ginga no SHIZUKU" brand of rice produced in Iwate Prefecture. ～The fresh cream can be enjoyed only at chilled temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius.
The "French cruller with rice flour from
Tohoku - kinako whipped cream"is made with rice flour from Yamagata Prefecture's "Tsuyahime" rice, which gives it a slightly sweet taste and moist texture, and sandwiched between two layers of kinako whipped cream. It is topped with soybean flour and chocolate. The doughnut is made to look like Yamagata Prefecture, and is finished off with a cold doughnut.

French cruller with Tohoku rice flour - sesame whip -The dough contains rice flour from Iwate Prefecture's "Ginga no Shizuku" rice, which gives the dough a slightly sweet taste and moist texture, and is sandwiched between black sesame whip. It is topped with a sugar coating and sesame seeds. This cold doughnut is also made with the image of Iwate Prefecture.
The price is 180 yen.
Lawson plans to release the third product in the "French cruller with Tohoku rice flour" series in January 2023.
