I tried Morinaga Milk Industry's "PARM" ice cream bar. The combination of the classic vanilla ice cream and chocolate coating is a good match any time of the year. It comes in a single 90 ml bottle with an estimated price of 150 yen (excluding tax).

This flavor is a staple among the various varieties of the "PARM" brand. Mascarpone cheese is used to give the vanilla ice cream a strong flavor, and the ice crystals are kept fine by quick freezing, resulting in a smooth texture.


The chocolate coating is an original recipe, and the melting temperature is adjusted so that it becomes liquid at the same temperature as the body, making it difficult for pieces to fall out of the ice cream.

There is a 55ml (1.86us fl oz) six-pack available at supermarkets and a 90ml (3.04us fl oz) one-pack available at convenience stores, and I tried the latter this time.


One bite and the aroma of chocolate and vanilla spread out, mingling with each other. The outer coating has a pleasant crunchy feel for a moment before melting, and the ice cream inside has a smooth texture and milky richness that spreads out and disappears quickly.

It is a generous size, so you can take two, three, or four bites and still have plenty to eat. It is a dish to be enjoyed after taking a bath or relaxing for a long time.
