Karuizawa Beer Craftsaurus Fresh Hop Ale 2022, a craft beer made with fresh hops grown in Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture, Yacho Brewing's hometown, will be available in limited quantities starting October 3. It will be available at select retailers, liquor stores, and restaurants in the towns of Karuizawa and Miyota, as well as at YONA YONA BEER WORKS, the official beer restaurant of Yona Yona Ale in Tokyo, and the official online store. This fresh hop ale, which can only be enjoyed at this time of year, is characterized by its unique lush aroma and fresh flavor, which is unique to fresh hops that have not been dried or compressed after harvesting.

Cascade, a hop with a distinctive citrus aroma like lemon and citrus, is grown and harvested in Karuizawa by Yakko Brewing and local company Greenfield. The concept was to create a "nouveau" pale ale with the green aroma of freshly picked hops from the top, and the type of beer chosen was "American Pale Ale". The alcohol content is 5.5%.
