Nissin Donbei Kyoto-style Ankake Udon

Since its launch in 1976, "Nissin Donbei" has been a top brand of Japanese-style cup noodles loved by many people. Now, Nissin Donbei Kyofu Ankake Udon is being released as a new product for the fall and winter season.

The Kyoto-style broth is richly flavored with the umami of kombu dashi (kelp dashi) and the aroma of ginger. The "thick" sauce goes perfectly with Nissin Donbei's udon noodles, which have a firm and smooth texture. Ingredients include kizami-age (deep-fried tofu), which is a staple in "Kyo-fu Ankake Udon," as well as kakitama (egg powder) and green onion. The umami and thickened broth warms both body and soul.

The noodles are firm and smooth. The sauce is a Kyoto-style broth made from kombu (kelp) dashi (seaweed). It has a rich flavor with a hint of ginger. Ingredients are a combination of kizami-age (fried bean curd), kakitama (egg powder), and green onion.
