Ingredients
About 2 pieces of deep-fried tofu1 or 2 packages natto (including the accompanying sauce)
A dash of sesame oil
Small green onions, to taste
Directions
Cut fried tofu into pieces and cut a slit in the center with a knife. Be careful not to tear the fried bean curd.Stuff the fried tofu with the natto mixed with the sauce provided.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat, add sesame oil, and cook until brown on both sides. Be careful not to overflow the natto when flipping it over! If you have trouble frying in a frying pan, you can use a toaster oven.
Finally, sprinkle a little green onion on top if you like! You can also add shichimi (seven spice) togarashi (red pepper) or sesame seeds.
