Sils Maria's Raw Chocolate

On a cold night in 1988, a new chocolate unlike any other was perfected in the Sils Maria kitchen. The name "raw chocolate" came from the fact that the company's original "raw pie" product was very popular at the time of its founding and used a lot of fresh cream in it. The first one to be introduced to the world was "Koen-dori no Ishidatami" (stone pavement on Park Avenue), which was recognized as a famous confectionary by Kanagawa Prefecture. The chocolatier gave the chocolate the trade name "raw chocolate," which led to the later boom in raw chocolate.
