Soup Harusame Wasabi Sansho: Multi-layered Japanese Dashi Flavor

A new "soup harusame" perfect for onigiri has been released in a tie-up with Shukuroku, a long-established onigiri specialty store in Asakusa, Tokyo, founded in 1954. Soup Harusame Wasabi Sansho Shigene-Japanese Dashi Flavor" is a delicious soup stock made from sea bream and bonito, with a hint of wasabi and sansho. The complex flavor of the layered dashi and the aroma of wasabi and sansho make it a perfect match for rice.

The noodles are made of smooth, chunky harusame. The soup is based on a combination of kombu (kelp), katsuo (bonito), and tai (sea bream) dashi, and accented with wasabi and sansho. The filling is a fluffy egg, textured soy bean paste, and colorful spring onions.
