Dekopon Chocolate Tart

This tart is layered with jam and sponge made from the seasonal citrus Shiranuhi, chocolate ganache, and decorated with Dekopon, a specialty of Kumamoto Prefecture with a rich sweetness. The mild sweetness of the chocolate complements the refreshing sweetness of the citrus fruit.


Only fruits that meet the nationally standardized criteria are sold as "Dekopon" by measuring Shiranui with an optical sensor at agricultural organizations (JA) licensed by the Japan Federation of Horticultural and Agricultural Cooperatives (JA).
Dekopon is a registered trademark of JA Kumamoto Fruit Federation.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Dekopon Chocolate Tart will be donated to the Kumamoto Prefecture Corporate Furusato Tax. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of "Dekopon Choco Tart" will be donated to Kumamoto Prefecture's corporate version of Furusato (hometown taxation), with the aim of contributing to regional development in Kumamoto Prefecture.

During the sales period, Kumamoto Prefecture's PR character "Kumamon" will be supporting Dekopon. Kumamon will appear on price cards and POPs in stores.
