The "Black Thunder" Apple Pie, a collaboration with Ariraku Seika's Black Thunder, will be available at all Granny Smith Apple Pie and Coffee stores and online stores from February 1 to February 20.

"Black Thunder" Apple Pie

For the first time, Granny Smith, which specializes in homemade style apple pies, and the popular chocolate bar "Black Thunder" have collaborated. The cocoa cookies and plain cookies are coated with chocolate, and the recipe was created to give the unique crunchy texture of "Black Thunder" and the perfect match between the bitterness of the cocoa cookies and the sweetness of the chocolate.


This apple pie is made with homemade custard cream spread on a light and crispy pie crust, with a generous amount of "Black Thunder" and Aomori red apples with just the right amount of acidity. It is baked with a plain crumble and black cocoa crumble on top.


The juicy flavor of the red apple and the sweetness of the custard cream are well-balanced with the "inazuma-grade" taste of Black Thunder. This special apple pie is also recommended as a Valentine's Day gift.
