It is popular for its subtle sweetness and refreshing carbonation. Akadama Punch 350ml (11.83us fl oz) cans, a more convenient way to enjoy Akadama Punch, were released at convenience stores in 2019.

The renewed "Akadama Punch 350ml (11.83us fl oz) can" retains the subtle sweetness typical of "Akadama Punch" but has a more refreshing aftertaste. The package features the words "bursting sweetness of wine sour" and an illustration of "Akadama Punch" to emphasize the characteristics of the flavor, while the brand's red color is used throughout the package to increase visibility at retailers.
