I tried "Raisin Karintou" (118 yen including tax) sold in KALDI! An excellent snack that you definitely want to eat with your coffee time. Especially recommended for raisin lovers.


"Raisin Karintou" is a sweet and sour karinto made from honey stewed with finely chopped raisins. I've eaten Japanese flavors such as brown sugar and black honey before, but it's exciting because it's the first time I've combined it with raisins.


When I opened the bag, it wasn't the elongated shape that I imagined when I heard Karinto, but a colon and a square bite size. You can see raisin fruits here and there on the surface.


When I try to eat it ... it's good! When chewed with a crispy texture, it melts in your mouth, the aroma of karinto and the sweetness of oil soaked in gently, and the sweetness of raisins spread juicy. It's dangerous because you can eat as many as you like. The plump square shape and the moderate cavity inside make you feel more comfortable.
