MUDALESS will revive the taste of the famous Waseda store under the supervision of the former manager of the "Mayau Waseda store" that closed in 2017, and will open the curry store "Waseda Mayau" on July 4th.

The Mayau Waseda store, located near Waseda University in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, opened in 1997 and has been loved by Waseda students for 21 years until it closed in 2017. On many days, you can sell more than 300 meals a day.

From around 2016, the store closed due to the physical problems of the store manager Shinobu Takahashi, who felt the difficulty of continuing business. After that, he witnessed that he was loved by many fans through SNS etc. and limited revival events, and he realized that "this taste should not be extinguished", and he became an enthusiastic fan under the supervision of former store manager Mr. Takahashi. The Mayau Revival Project was launched by us.

Crowdfunding will start at "CAMP FIRE" from February 15, 2020 toward the opening. Along with warm messages from many Waseda students and Mayau fans, 4,279,110 yen was collected, and the support achievement rate was 285%.


We plan to sell chicken curry and pork curry, which are prepared by purchasing more than 10 kinds of special spices through our own route. Former store manager Shinobu Takahashi has completed research and evolution for nearly 20 years based on customer opinions and his own experience.
