The mysterious color-changing pudding "Yubatake Pudding at Night" is on sale at the pudding specialty store "Kusatsu Onsen Pudding" in Kusatsu Onsen, Gunma Prefecture. Limited to hours from 15:00 to 17:00 every day.


This pudding was developed with the image of the change in the scenery of Yubatake, which is the symbol of Kusatsu Onsen, from the dim evening to the illuminated night. A blue jelly made from "Butterfly Pea" tea is layered on top of a pudding made from local Gunma's Haruna milk. If you add lemon juice, you can enjoy how this blue jelly turns purple.


At Kusatsu Onsen pudding, each pudding is made by craftsmen in the in-store workshop. It is said that it is finished with a special smooth texture by a manufacturing method that is particular about temperature control.
