At each Lawson Store 100 store, 100 yen New Year dishes were released on December 25th. A total of 32 types are on sale, from standard items such as kamaboko, black beans, konbu maki, and datemaki to unusual types such as roasted duck slices and wasabi.

The point is to pursue not only cheapness but also "quality" and "deliciousness" by utilizing factories in the off-season. We will introduce some of the new products from the lineup that cannot be underestimated because it is 100 yen.

This time, I bought 10 items including 4 new items. I will introduce them in order.

New products of the year

Boiled
A classic osechi simmered dish. Although it takes time to make, it is familiar as a sober existence.


There is a wide variety of ingredients such as chicken, carrots, burdock, lotus root, bamboo shoots, and shiitake mushrooms, and the taste is perfect. The texture of lotus root and bamboo shoots is also good. You can enjoy the flavor of the ingredients and the mellow taste.


Seafood salad
Crab sticks, onions and shrimp. It has a rich sweet and sour taste and looks good for sake. You can enjoy the contrast between the crispy onions and the soft texture of crab sticks.


Those stewed Uman
pork and onion pig in Amakarai seasoning. Although the pork is only cut into two pieces in one bag, it is thick enough to be eaten. The taste you want to warm and put on rice.



Walnut Kanro- ni
The crunchy texture of the walnut and the aroma of miso match. A dish with a sweet and full-bodied taste. It would be nice to have a small amount of Kanro-ni, which tends to be left over if you buy a lot.

Kamaboko
At the end of the year, the price of Kamaboko suddenly rises at the supermarket for 100 yen! We have a wide variety of products.


This is Kamaboko with sea bream and red and white finish to create a congratulatory atmosphere. You can enjoy a soft and gentle taste while having a lot of elasticity. There is no problem with the taste.


Aigamo slice
Aigamo slice that is often included in fashionable New Year dishes. You can enjoy juicy and rich umami and duck-like flavor with 4 slices for 100 yen. A dish that you can stock up as a snack regardless of osechi. Recommended for salads and soba toppings.


Tsundere wasabi & scallop wasabi
Tsundere and spicy wasabi flavored dish. The scallops have a crunchy texture, but the scallops have a thick texture. The scallops are accented with walnuts and have a slightly mild taste. Both are perfect for sake.



Kuri-kinton & Kuri-Kanro- ni
Kuri-kinton with finely crushed chestnut grains and simple Kuri-Kanro-ni. When combined, the classic New Year dishes with Kanro-ni are completed. Kanro-ni contains 3 grains.




Before I tried it, I was worried that the taste was okay for 100 yen, but in reality, the quality is almost the same as the one that costs several hundred yen at a supermarket. You can arrange them all, rely on only a part of them, or make up for the shortage in the New Year. It's 100 yen anyway, so why not try a side dish tonight after tasting it?
