I tried 7-ELEVEN's "Purin & Whipped Raw Dorayaki". It bears the name of Dorayaki, but it may be more like a sweet sandwich with custard pudding and whipped cream in a fluffy maple-flavored pancake.
The price is 192 yen (tax included) and the calories are 331 kcal. The dorayaki dough on the outside is a completely fluffy pancake. The strong maple flavor makes you feel like you are enjoying two freshly baked pieces of maple syrup for breakfast.
The custard pudding inside is firm. It has a deep yellow color and a strong egg flavor. The thick caramel sauce also hangs on it, but I don't insist that much, but rather it serves as a scent of maple honey on pancakes.
The white whipped cream that surrounds the pudding is soft and has no habit, just some maple scent. There is almost no Japanese confectionery on the whole, and the impression is that it is a Western-style confectionery that you can hold and eat by hand. Hot coffee or tea is recommended for drinks.
