"Sakura Latte with Shiratama" will be on sale from February 26th at each 7-ELEVEN store in the Kanto area. The price is 238 yen (tax included).
This is a cherry blossom latte with shiratama, which is made by extracting the leaves of cherry blossoms to bring out the scent. It is creamy finished with Hokkaido cream. Shiratama is said to have been specially developed to have a long-lasting "sticky" feel among drinks.
When I drank it, I was fascinated by the slightly elegant scent of cherry blossoms, not the strong cherry blossom flavor peculiar to fragrances. The slight saltiness enhances the soft sweetness while refreshing the aftertaste. Insanely delicious!
The shiratama that jumps into your mouth is more like konjac than a shiratama. It's smooth, smooth, elastic and crisp, and it's similar to the tapioca in 7-ELEVEN's " Tapioca Hojicha Latte " that I drank. It may be a little different if you drink with the image of so-called "shiratama".
However, I can confidently recommend the deliciousness of Sakura Latte itself. Personally, I think it's as delicious as a cafe. It's not too sweet, so you'll want to repeat it many times. If you get tired of your usual coffee, try it!
