At Lawson in Kagoshima Prefecture, "Ocha Melon Bread" using matcha tea leaves from Kagoshima Prefecture will be released on January 8th. The price is 130 yen (tax included).
Ocha Melon Bread is a product jointly developed by students of Tokito Gakuen Shonan High School and Lawson. The biscuit dough melon bread made from Kagoshima tea leaves is sandwiched with whipped cream made from Kagoshima tea leaves. The shape of the melon bread seems to be the image of the school building of Shonan High School.
