Shinjuku Thirteen Cafe (No.13cafe)

No.13cafe is located about a 10-minute walk from the East Exit of JR Shinjuku Station. It is a store with a relaxed atmosphere, tucked away in a corner on the fourth floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Health Plaza Hygeia.

It opened in June 2016 with the idea of providing a place for coffee and relaxation. It offers a sweets menu and set menus, and has been featured on gourmet TV programs.


The "full cream soda" is particularly popular at Thirty-Nine Cafe right now! We tried the menu item we were curious about.

The "Full Cream Soda" has a beautiful and refreshing visual, as if a blue sky is trapped in the glass. The blue color is truly beautiful and enchanting. The price is 680 yen per glass (tax included).


The standard color is the "blue" that I ordered this time, and other colors such as pink and yellow are also available depending on the season. When the author visited, "blue" and "green" were being served.

The ice cream topping is yogurt flavor. It melts lightly in the mouth and has a pleasant sweetness. Compared to vanilla ice cream, it is refreshing, so it is nice that it is not too cloying!



The ice cream floats like a cloud in the glass because the blue part is crushed jelly. After crumbling the ice cream topping, pour in additional soda and enjoy. It has a nostalgic sweetness that will put you in a retro mood.
