The "Furusato Ekiben Tournament" is being held at JR Tokyo Station. You can purchase ekiben from various places until December 31, 2018.

The venue is "Ekibenya Matsuri Gransta" in "GRANSTA" on the 1st floor of the ticket gate. The Furusato Ekiben Tournament is the 8th in 2018, and this time, 9 types of ekiben including "Kofu Kaifu Memorial Bento Koshu Beef Chirashizushi" at Kobuchizawa Station in Yamanashi Prefecture have appeared for the first time.

Koshu beef chirashizushi is a ekiben with a luxurious use of charcoal-grilled Koshu beef and boiled abalone, and vinegar rice is vinegar made with wine vinegar and chopped plums are mixed. The container has a slightly interesting taste, such as the pottery that imaged the abalone carried on the back of a horse during the Edo period. The selling price is 1,280 yen (tax included, same below).

In addition, the "Ikura no Soy Sauce Pickled Bento" (1,280 yen) at Hachinohe Station in Aomori Prefecture, where the slightly sweet salmon roe pickled in soy sauce is all over, and the "San" at Takayama Station in Gifu Prefecture, which makes the best use of Hida's local cuisine.
