Tokaido Shinkansen & Chiikawa Collaboration

Chiikawa ekiben and collaboration goods will be available through collaboration between the Tokaido Shinkansen and the popular character "Chiikawa". They will be available at ekiben stores in Tokaido Shinkansen stations and at the official online store.

The bento and goods will feature Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi in their Shinkansen purser uniforms as newly-drawn illustrations, as well as IKAWA pushing a cart to sell onboard, Hachiware struggling with the shape of Shinkansen goikatai ice cream, and Usagi eating an ekiben on a Tokaido Shinkansen N700S seat. Ekiben

"Chiikawa Ekiben" is the first ekiben from Chiikawa. The 13 items are related to Chiikawa, and you can taste them while imagining which story they are related to. The ekiben is also decorated with a sheet of fish meat depicting one of three different characters: Chiikawa, Hachiware, or Usagi.



As a novelty, a postcard with a newly-drawn design of the purser is included, randomly selected from one of the three designs. The chopstick bag and the product description also include elements of Chiikawa.
