The morning menu of the Scandinavian cafe "Oslo Coffee", which is familiar with the "crown" mark, has been renewed. Previously, waffles and other items were offered, but they have changed to two types of sandwiches.


"A set" is a warm sandwich of ham and Scandinavian cheese. "B set" is a cold salad sandwich of Norwegian salmon and Danish cheese. Both are 600 yen (tax included) with specialty coffee.


Coffee can be selected from the bitter and rich "King" or the fruity sour "Queen". King is brewed with AeroPress and Queen is brewed with hand drip. By the way, in addition to coffee, you can also choose tea or cafe au lait (some additional charges apply).

◆ Warm A set

The A set is another warm sandwich. Melting cheese and ham are sandwiched in a slightly hard elongated bread.


Bread that is crispy and fragrant. I also feel a faint sweet flavor. The cheese that overflows from the inside is mochi mochi, and it has a presence that is comparable to ham that is layered on top of each other. The creamy texture and mellow richness enhance the saltiness and umami of the ham.

◆ Refreshing B set

The B set is a cold sandwich with plenty of vegetables. It is packed with lettuce, onions, pickles, tender fleshy salmon and rich cream cheese.


Smooth cream cheese complements the moist, melty, greasy salmon. A sandwich that you can enjoy refreshingly thanks to the vegetables, even though it is delicious! I wake up crisply from the morning.


There was plenty of coffee in the deep cup, which made me feel happy that I was allowed to stay longer. I had a queen this time, but when I took a sip, it had a refreshing acidity and a fruity finish was elegant.


Oslo Coffee has stores in Shinjuku, Ginza, Yokohama, etc. This cafe is recommended for spending a relaxing time rather than taking out or having a quick cup of tea. It's easy to enter by yourself, so why not stop by and have breakfast before work?
